NEW! Siege of Savannah Virtual Program

Costumed Resource Educators lead this dynamic virtual program, guiding viewers back in time to explore the events and personalities of the 1779 Battle of Savannah using historical weapons demonstrations and participatory activities suitable for children (4th grade and up) and adults alike.

Busy Bees Program

The Busy Bees Mobile Museum program is an educational workshop that focuses on the wonderful world of honey bees. Students will engage in games and activities that teach the life cycle, anatomy, and habits of our favorite pollinators, right in your own school or facility!

Indigo Dyeing Program

The Indigo Dyeing Mobile Museum program is a hands-on workshop that teaches participants about the scientific process behind creating dye from the indigo plant, as well as the plant's unique history in Georgia and the Southeast. Participants will be able to dye their own cloth and experiment with pattern making.

Mad Scientist Program

The Mad Scientist Mobile Museum program is an educational workshop that gets young scientists fully engaged in a variety of wacky experiments that will amaze, impress, and teach! With a mixture of hands-on experiments and demonstrations, participants will learn while having fun!

Rocketry Program

The Rocketry Mobile Museum program is a hands-on workshop that allows participants to experiment with construction and flight using straw rockets. Students will test out a variety of different wings, angles, and weights to find the perfect combination. Participants will be able to take home their own straw rocket designs.

The Charlie Cart Program

The Charlie Cart provides unique, hands-on educational experiences. The compact mobile kitchen on wheels is equipped with utensils and cooking equipment. Each lesson highlights a classroom concept, a cooking skill, and a cultural aspect. Children of all learning styles can beneft from the varied lessons. Each child participates in collaborative cooking activities and experiences being a 'chef' for a day.

Civil War Student Militia Program

Experience life as a Civil War soldier! Students will enlist as Georgia militia with a uniform Historical Interpreter, who will lead them through Savannah's Civil War history with interactive demonstrations. Participatory activities may include a wooden musket drill, marching practice, Signal Corps training, and more!

Revolutionary War Student Militia Program

Experience life as a Revolutionary War soldier! Students will enlist as 18th century soldiers with a uniformed Historical Interpreter, who will lead them through Savannah's Revolutionary War history with interactive demonstrations and participatory activities that may include a wooden musket drill, marching practice, wartime communications training, and more!

Civil War Medicine

This program provides students with a broad context of Civil War history - both nationally and regionally, and students will learn about triage, feld hospitals, surgery, and so much more with several interactive segments, getting hands-on experience moving a stretcher and performing battlefeld triage!

STEAM (Railroad) Communications

This program will allow students to dive into the history of railroading in the U.S. and examine technological changes ushered forth by railroad expansion impacted our growing nation.

At the time of booking, a contract will be created to identify your group's date/time of host and number of guests. A final guest count is required 7 business days prior to your program date. A deposit and signed copy of your contract are required. Reservations are not confirmed without a signed contract and deposit.
