Pin Point Heritage Museum is located in the former A.S. Varn & Son Oyster and Crab Factory nestled on the banks of Moon River. Guests can develop an understanding of the historical experience of growing up in Pin Point, a community founded by formerly enslaved African Americans and their descendants in the 1890s.
The museum focuses on religion, language, food, and more, featuring the stories of residents who grew up in this small, close-knit community.
